The House of Filigree project was conceived by Pedro and Luísa Rosas.
Their passion for delicate and carefully crafted jewellery runs in the family: they are the children of Maria Luísa and David Rosas, the founder of the fine jewellery and timepieces company bearing his name, and are the fifth generation of a family connected to goldsmithery since the middle of the 19th century.
Two of Pedro’s and Luísa Rosas’ great-grandparents were the founders of two of the most notable houses dedicated to the art of filigree in Portugal, so the current generation feels an obligation towards the preservation of this millennial art.
